The Fire Department answered an average of 248 calls per month, or 8.3 calls per day, with a total of 1,487 calls from January to June 2021, as follows:

First Aid: Rescue work for people in the most diverse circumstances, such as: vehicular accidents, sudden accidents, falls, childbirth, everything that involves qualified labor and life support equipment, carried out by ambulance and with first responders; was responsible for 91% of the calls and it’s of vital importance to the community.

Firefighting: Firefighting is the defense of property and lives as the first goal, it deals with accidents in homes and commercial and industrial facilities, in short, all buildings, as well as vehicles; preserving the environment by fighting wildland and vacant land fires, as well as burning garbage (these make up 80% of firefighting) – Firefighting was responsible for 3% of calls.

Others: Runway washing – Removal of sources of danger – Collapses – Floods – Animals Rescue – Kitchen gas Leak – Assistance in events – Searches – assistance, etc.; These were responsible for 6% of the calls.

For the emergency services, they have a team of 25 effective firefighters and 19 volunteers, 10 vehicles, 3 of which are for firefighting, 4 for rescuing people and emergency relief, 01 for rescue and transport of animals and 02 for displacement of personnel.
