Manufacture of Road Equipment grows 33.47% in 2021

The manufacturers of road equipment showed a growth of 33.47% in 2021, when compared to the total number of products sold in 2020, according to data from Associação Nacional dos Fabricantes de Implementos Rodoviários (Anfir). From January to December, 162,669 units were sold, against 121,897 products in the 12 months of the previous year.

In addition, the segment of trailers and semi-trailers sold 90,339 units last year, compared to 67,401 products in 2020. The performance represents a positive variation of 34.03%.

In turn, the body on chassis sector delivered, from January to December 2021, a total of 72,330 products, a volume 32.77% higher than in the same period in 2020.

Another positive sign of market heating was the increase in exports of road equipment. From January to November of last year, the industry exported 4,632 units, presenting a positive variation of 120.68%.
